Assalaamu Alaikum :)

Yesterday, I attended an inter-faith antiwar rally.

First, there was a program held inside "Holy Name Cathederal." And then we marched in the freezing cold to another Cathederal.

One rally by itself wouldn't do anything, but ours was one of many, and I do think it makes a difference.

Omar and I held a huge banner saying, "Peace is the Mosque's Business." We got at least four pics taken by complete strangers. One interview by a supposed journalist from Japan who wrote answers on a reciept.

Today, I called in sick (was sick in the morning). The kids have a field trip to the skating rink. Pathetic. I haven't taken a day off when they're in class.
